Botox
Smooth, Refreshed, Natural
Botox is the most studied and widely used aesthetic treatment in the world, and the reason for that comes down to how effectively it addresses a single, specific cause of aging. Many of the lines we see on the face are not the result of skin damage or volume loss. They are the result of muscles contracting in the same patterns thousands of times over the years, gradually creasing the skin above them. Botox works by gently relaxing those targeted muscles so the overlying skin can smooth out and stop being pulled into the same lines over and over.
When the treatment is done well, the goal is never a frozen or expressionless face. The goal is a natural softening of the lines that have started to look more pronounced than they used to, while preserving the movement and expressiveness that make your face yours. Skilled placement is everything. The right amount of product, placed in the right muscles, in the right balance, is what creates results that look refreshed rather than worked on.
What We Treat
The most familiar applications are the horizontal lines across the forehead, the vertical lines between the brows often called the elevens, and the crinkles around the eyes known as crow's feet. These three areas have been treated successfully with Botox for decades. Beyond those classic uses, Botox can also create a subtle brow lift, soften bunny lines along the bridge of the nose, give the lips a little flip for a more open upper lip, smooth dimpling in the chin, reduce the appearance of vertical neck bands, and address less obvious concerns like teeth grinding and jaw clenching by relaxing the masseter muscle.
There are also medical applications worth knowing about. Botox is FDA approved for chronic migraine relief, hyperhidrosis or excessive sweating in the underarms, palms, or soles, and certain muscle related conditions. Many clients who started with aesthetic treatments end up using Botox for these functional benefits as well.
Results typically begin showing within a few days, settle into full effect by about two weeks, and last three to four months on average. With consistent treatment over time, many clients find their muscles begin to soften their habits, and the same results last a little longer with each visit. This is one of the reasons Botox tends to be a long term partner in a thoughtful skincare and aesthetics routine rather than a one time event.

Natural-looking results that enhance your features — never overdone.
